Don't do's in men?

What should man not do while partner TTC? Any advice. We have been trying for year and nothing yet??

No drugs including nicotine. Limit or eliminate caffeine. No alcohol. Eat healthier. Take supplements. I've heard vitamin D is important. No masturbating during fertile week. No extreme workout regimens. No hot tubs or hot showers. No tight underwear. --- hope this helps!

My advice: Don't put added pressure on SO! Actually, that goes both ways. I was really careful not to tell my SO every month when I was fertile. I didn't constantly talk about getting pregnant, take a bunch of tests, track everything obsessively or even tell him when I first suspected I was pregnant. I just took the test and we celebrated! !

It took over a year--and that's a long time to agonize about every cramp and weird vaginal discharge. It's not healthy for either person, and that definitely detracts from your sex life. The last thing I wanted was to fight about getting pregnant or force him into emotionless, get-a-baby-up-there-sex. I'm really proud of myself for being sane in a situation that can quickly get out of hand.
