Hmm. Am I the only one?

I'm 22 and deathly afraid to go buy a Hpt. I don't know why, I'm just terrified? Any way to get around it?! I'm curious if I'm pregnant, my boyfriend thinks I might be, he is constantly joking around with me that his son is in there but who knows!

You could always go through a self check out if they have them in stores where you live. They might see it on the screen but they usually don't talk to you so awkward conversation is out.

Had that problem the first few times I bought a test. Every time after that I just walk in and owned the fact that it's what I'm buying. Same with pads, Plan B and condoms. There is nothing shameful about buying things for your well being.

One time I was at the dollar store and bought like 10 tests. And also 10 ovulation tests. I felt weird for sure. And the cashier looked at me funny, but who cares! They don't know you ☺️

I didn't like buying them lol. Mainly cause no one knew we were trying an if I ran into someone I knew I feel they would assume I already was an then everyone would know... I had my mom go buy me a 2 pack lol.

Who cares, really? The cashier probably feels just as awkward as you and you are probably not going to see them again. Especially if you go to a drug store you never usually go to. ;)

I have that problem too I always hate when I miss a period and end up going to buy one and so nervous the whole time I start babbling to the cashier it's for a friend who's in the car not me. I'm 20 years old I want kids it shouldn't make me nervous right?

It is awkward, and one time the cashier at cvs says to me "good luck... I think" and I just laughed nervously and walked out lol... It's always worse when they say something to you

I'll never forget the time I bought one when I was 22 and the cashier asked me why would I want to ruin my figure....seven years later and at 30 years old now I would love to see that lady now. And now I have two kids. Anyway, don't stress about buying a test you'll be in and out.
