First appointment

I finally had my first appointment at 8 weeks 6 days! It was crazy to see the baby and the flickering heartbeat! Our hospital doesn't do "real" ultrasounds until 18-20 weeks, so they used a portable machine that doesn't give a great picture, but it's good enough for quick checks. Anyone else have this experience? I'm just happy we got to see the baby and everything is looking great!
