Tmi: WORRIED! What is this? My dr doesn't seem concerned.

Question

I am constipated more than I've ever been I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks I'm now just shy of 7 weeks by a day now.

I've been experiencing strange symptoms besides extreme constipation, light pink bleeding after straining for a BM. Not even that hard either, just a normal going to the bathroom like everyone probably does. This has happened three times in the past 4 days.

My dr doesn't seem to be concerned and thinks it's correlated to being constipated and light bleeding is fairly common in the first trimester and everything's probably fine since I am not cramping or in pain or have red blood or heavy bleeding. This is my second pregnancy I have a 3 yr old DD, this never happened while pregnant with her.

I do have an ultrasound 11/13 but I'm still worried! Anyone have experience with this happening???

Drink some prune juice it works wonders. Like drink a full glass & if you don't poop today it'll definitely happen tomorrow (: good luck !

It's still so new but I wanted to say, unfortunately we lost our baby. It was the start of a MC. It was early at 7 weeks, I'm still in the process of going through a natural MC, I'm at loss of words and feeling right now. ??

I bled too. It was my 27 cycle day (way too early for me) and lasted til today. It was light bleeding then spotting. Then just noticible when I wiped. I'm still trying to figure out what it is. It was nothing like my period, plus I've still got all my symptoms.

I had pink spotting around 5-6 weeks. Drink a ton of water and eat more fibre. Whole wheat, bran, veggies etc. Don't strain too hard or you'll end up with enlarged veins that bleed after bowel movements

If your doctor isn't concerned then you shouldn't be either. Spotting/bleeding after bm is normal.

Just started some good old stool softener from my dr Saturday. I'm also on Lovenox injections (blood thinners).
