My boyfriend and I are 19 and have been dating for 2 years. We are planning on getting engaged soon but not having a family wedding for a year or 2. My family does not support so much commitment at a young age even though our relationship it strong and mature and I feel beyond confident in it. Should I tell them as soon as we get engaged or can I wait until we're 20 and months closer to the wedding ?
