What is the most effective way to use ovulation strips?

I've been trying for a few months just using glow and nothing. I want to start using ovulation tests to know exactly when the fertile window is. Should I test every day or only when I think I'm close to the fertile window?

I start testing from the day after my af ends just in case because I don't have regular cycles. I usually test randomly throughout the day because I noticed that when I only did it once a day at the same time the lines were never the same.

If you have normal cycles then the instructions inside the strips will tell you when to start testing and yes once a day works for me. In the afternoon or early evening.  Use bbt as well.
