Would gaining weight help me to conceive?

I have always been thin but now that my husband and I are ttc I am wondering if my weight could affect our chances. I am 5'5'' and about 112-115lbs. Has anyone else had any luck after putting on some weight?

A friend of mine was trying for over two years. She was your weight and extremely active. She ran and also taught aerobics. Her doctor had her slow down on the exercising and she got pregnant three months later. Eat healthy and be healthy but you don't want your body fat percentage to be extremely low or it might hinder the process.

I'm 5'7 about 130 and I had blood work and such done and my doc told me to gain weight, not thrilled, I'm trying to gain it but it's not working. I've even been eating mcdonalds like3 times a week. But yes gaining weight (healthy amount) will help

Is your weight in the healthy range for your height, and are your cycles normal? If those are fine, I don't think weight gain would be a good thing.
