Why is it so hard for some & so easy for others?

Question

Is there any scientific study to see why some have difficulty getting pregnant while others have no problem? I don't get it... I wonder what could cause this? The medicines (BC) we take? The environment?

Someone had posted the other day how their cracked out cousin keeps popping out kids. Isn't that strange though it seems that people on welfare or those that are on drugs have no issue. The really has to be some type of correlation to drugs and fertility. I have been on birth control for at least 10 years, that has to affect your body in someway when trying to get pregnant.

Even with miscarriages nowadays it seems like everybody has a miscarriage either it was a hush-hush thing back in the day or it didn't happen I don't know but I do know that nearly everyone I've spoke to has had a miscarriage so that makes me wonder what's causing that compared to years ago.

Just some thoughts... Ramblings. Glow should add a blog feature because there's a lot of random thoughts such as these That go through my mind and I don't want to post it for people I know to read but somewhere on an app like this would be fine but then again now I have you guys to put in your two cents lol

Um...no. there is no correlation to doing drugs and being fertile. Actually, it's more of a social/ecological/biological thing. Women who are living at or below the poverty line have less sex education and less access to birth control methods. At that social level, it also helps, having that many kids (more kids=more welfare=greater income). Lower classes have always had larger families than higher classes, statistically. Look at Africa. Complete poverty and disease fraught, and yet the average family size is anywhere from 4-7 kids, depending on the area (more kids to work and bring in money. Once again, more kids=greater income)
As far as birth control messing up your body, that is incorrect, as well. It has no lasting effects on a woman's fertility. 
Miscarriage? They've always been common, unfortunately. But thanks to early detection pregnancy tests, early miscarriages that may have gone unnoticed are now making it seem more common.
Honestly? Your ability to conceive and carry a child to term is complete, utter genetic chance. You have the perfect combination of healthy ovaries, and a healthy uterus. Then you have to have sex at just the right time in a very small window of opportunity. Then, a healthy sperm has to fight it's way through a very acidic environment and find your egg. It then has to correctly fertilize it. And then the healthy little embryo has to find it's way into the uterus and implant the correctly in the right place, continue developing correctly, and your body has to receive it correctly...it's such a delicate process. Even one small thing wrong can make it oh so difficult. 
Reproduction is chance. It happens when you don't want it to. It doesn't happen when you want it to. There is no controlling factor.

I'm a firm believer in "unnatural" things having an affect on our bodies, fertility and otherwise. I think birth control is a huge part of the issues many women face.

One of the reasons you hear about so many more miscarriages today than back then is because we can find out that we are pregnant so much earlier, whereas, then they didn't even know they were pregnant and just figured their period was a little heavier than usual when they were having a miscarriage.  Technology is great but, sometimes what you don't know can't hurt you!!

Considering that biological refers to systems in the body, yes drugs affect the body and how the body's systems are functioning affects fertility... So you can't say that birth control doesn't have any effect on fertility

From my family history, every woman in my family who has been on birth control for over 2 years, has had more than 1 miscarriage. A few of my cousins can't even get pregnant and I believe it's from the bc. My one cousin had 5 miscarriages,. It's extremely devastating for my family.

I don't know. It must be one of life's great ironies. I'm poor and have had no problem conceiving. Unfortunately. Only one of my four pregnancies was intended. I never had a miscarriage. My husband has to wait until obamacare to get his vasectomy so I ended up pregnant with my now four month old when my now one year old was two months. I agree that it seems like people that can't afford or don't need kids seem to be able to conceive the easiest. I don't get it. Side note: I've never done drugs, smoked, or did much drinking, did one shot of depo. I am overweight and don't watch what I eat.
