Break up ? please help

Question

My ex and I have done a lot .. And he's seen everything of me and I've seen all of him.. We've only been going out for 3 months but I really felt something .. But one day we didn't really talk and I was confused (two days ago) on the 4th and I look at my phone that night and he simply said 'we need to break up' I didn't understand so random and just seemed so heartless.. The. He asked for a two week break and I said 'that's just a two week window for you to go hook up w/some girl and then come back if u felt like it. You can either stay w/me and resolve this or you can leave..'
All he said was 'bye I guess' 
I lost it ? I didn't want to loose him he became my everything.. My whole world revolved around him..
His reason was because 'he wasn't happy' ? what was I doing wrong?!

Just in the way he broke it off means he's not worth your time. 3 months may feel like a long relationship now but once you find yourself in a true relationship you'll look back and laugh. I understand you're hurt, I've been there. Just try to occupy your time when he pops in your head. Stay busy and he'll  fade away sooner than you think. You were right to not accept his "2 weeks off" offer, stay strong?Good luck, you have support here?

First things first DON'T feel bad for crying! It hurts right now and if crying makes you feel better then do it. Breaks ups are apart of life some are with people (boyfriends and friends). Sometimes we "break up" with  jobs and sometimes with things like our favorite mascara. My point being he was like that favorite mascara, great until it's runs out. Then when it runs out you're upset of course because it was your fave and once you get over it you go to the store and see they have came out with something new and improved not only that but they have many more options that could be better than that favorite mascara. So in due time you will slowly but surely get over him and hopefully someone better will come along. You're definitely on the right track wth the non-sense radar ;-) 2 week break.

We've all been through break ups before and they definitely suck. But word to the wise "don't make someone your everything because when their gone you'll have nothing." I don't remember who said that but it rings true for your situation. He is not your everything... You have friends, family and Hobbys that can take up your new free time. If you've neglected your friends because of your relationship (which you should never do) then apologize to them and try and rebuild that. TBH you sound kind of young. I doubt it's anything you did... He may just not have had the same feelings as you. Just remember this too shall pass. What is meant to be will be.

I totally understand that you had feelings but 3 months is nothing, you'll find someone worth your time. Don't sweat it, he's the jerk. If he couldn't give you a legitimate reason then you're too good for him anyways. Cheer up, everything will be better in a couple days!
