You pretty much just answered your own problem doll. If you know what is right (&your correct, you want a guy who will stick by your side and not be a lover but, a best friend as well) then do it. Trust me, I had the same experience in the past. Long story short, I was scared to move on but by golly am I glad I did. I found the perfect man in my life. He's my side kick (: I never knew there was a guy like him out there. I thought men like him only existed in my romance novels. What u do is let him know what u think and dont be too verbal just be straight and to the point. When it comes to the family when its out of line say something dont let walk all over u like that cause they will mistake ur kindneas for weakness and keep doing it. Let ur man know if he loves u and respects u he will put his foot down for u..good luck hun (:

Talk him and tell him how your feeling an if he still dosent want to stick up for you give him a break and don't answer none of his calls until he can get it together , because obviously they have no respect an feel they can say and do what they want , don't let anyone make you cry an not say anything GOD gave you a mouth to speak to communicate an let them know how you feel , if they don't like it oh well . Thanks Hun really appreciate that! It's tricky though as we live together. I'm normally a strong person but after all this time I just don't have the energy to keep fighting! I will have words tonight when I get home I think xx
