Disappointing test results

Went to fertility doctor today for some follow up test results. About 3 months ago I had a lot of blood tests done and I came up positive for toxoplasma. I went back today for my repeat test results and I'm still positive. I was basically told to hold off on trying to conceive and that I should see an infectious disease specialist, and should get a clearance for pregnancy from him. I am so incredibly disappointed.
