My bf just lost his wallet with $700 in it last night at work... :(

My husband and I own a restaurant and while cleaning after closing we found a persons Walet with over two grand in it and multiple credit cards drivers license social security card. We called the number on the business card that was in the wallet and the owner came and picked it up. He was so thankful he had already called the credit card company to cancel his cards. He wanted to give us money for giving it back but we didn't take it as we were only doing what was right.

Well I'm glad no one would just leave it alone. Sad how many ppl chose to help themselves.. if roles were reversed I'm sure u would b devastated that someone took ur hard earned money. Think. Geez.

I'd find the person, I've forgotten my purse a few times in restaurants and they "can't find it" then randomly find it and stuff is missing. So I don't really trust other people too much
