Does age matter.?

Is it bad that I'm 14 and my boyfriend is 17 we've been together for over a year now and we practically live together.!

Nope. Age becomes less of an issue as you get older. Think about it.. When you're 20 he'll be 23. Not a big difference at all. It just feels that way when you're young.

It all depends. Say a 20 yr old is with  anyone under the age of 15. I think its wrong. That's five years apart. But I see it differently if a 21 yr old is with a 16 year old. Its different. I'm not sure why but it is. I think once you hit your 20's any age over 20 is okay unless you go to old.. like over 45.. I find it weird... I don't see a problem with your age difference. As long as your parents are okay with it.

3 years isn't much of a difference when you're older but when you're this age it is. It concerns me that you're practically living together. Things get even more complicated if the two of you are intimate because you're legally too young to consent.

I think everyone is missing the point. I don't believe the age difference matters but the fact of the matter is is that she is 14! A minor! With someone all the time that is 17, almost considered an adult. As a mom, I think I'd have a problem with this. A 14 having to deal with grown up situations doesn't really make me comfortable. Just saying...
