I just had the lapband done in september, i want to get pregnant, is it safe?!

I had the sleeve gastrectomy done in May and I had to sign a "contract" saying that I have to wait a calendar year to get pregnant. Obviously they can't stop you from doing so but for obvious reasons you should wait. Your body is changing in every way imaginable, there's no way you could sustain a baby while your chemistry, weight, appearance, etc. is changing

I had gastric bypass in June I was advised not to get pregnant for 18 month, I was only 3 months out when I found out. Talk to your doctor im not sure if the same rule applies to people with lapband.

Definitely see tour doctor. One of my friends mom's wanted to surrogate for a family member but she had the lapband. They advised her to remove it before trying to carry so as it does not slip. I wish I had more information for you, this is just what I remember from years ago. In any case, good luck! :)
