Is it stress?

Can stress cause you to be late? I'm a week late, I haven't done anything but I have been a little stressed lately! Could my lateness be the stress???

Yes. I used to be very stressed and didn't know how to handle it well. I completely skipped periods because of it.

OH MY GOSH, yes. I had a pregnancy scare and was so stressed out about it, I actually completely missed my period.... Which really didn't help my case. But I went to see a doctor and wasn't pregnant:) a few days after the stress of it went away, I got my period

Stress can make you late,  we first started trying in August and I got into a car accident and fractured my pelvis in 4 places I was so afraid of the radiation,  now two weeks into my stay at the hospital I was refusing x-rays bc my period was late I thought I was pregnant.  I kept stressing over a pregnancy I didn't even have so my period was super late not to mention the stress and shock to my body.

Stress definitely plays a big part in the arrival of your period. When I'm stressing, I can be days sometimes even a week late. Try and relax.
