breastfeeding with implants?  Were you able to?" /> I have breast implants and am worried about being able to breastfeed when I have a baby.  I just want to know how many women have had implants and were, or were not, able to breastfeed.

It depends on the kind of surgery you had.

Now, it's totally fine, but older methods of surgery used to damage the mammary glands making breastfeeding difficult if not impossible. They also resulted in women having very little or no sensation I'm their breasts.

I'd recommend asking your doctor for an exam to see if your glands and things are intact.
