Has anyone been diagnosed with pcos after already having a healthy pregnancy and delivery?

I have been diagnosed with it since I was 16 years old. I just got married in June and was trying for three months but I only got my period once. After that I just didn't worry about and was stress free and started praising and worshiping God and now I'm 5 weeks pregnant with Gods help and so happy that I didn't have to go to a fertility doctor. Just try to not stress yourself out and you will get pregnant.

Yes! I have a 2.5yr old girl. Took me years to have her but I was young. Just oct of 2014 dx with pcos which made sense as to why it was hard to conceive and also irregular cycles. By ob/gyn not worried since knows that I can get preg. Put me on metformin. To jumpstart ovulation n regulate cycles. Ttc still...very hopeful!!!

I have a 5 year old. I wasn't even trying with him. Now my husband and I are trying and I just got diagnosed with it. I have been reading the sypmtons and I am thinking I have had it for a while. I have gained 20 lbs in the past year which isn't normal. I don't know anything about it yet waiting until Monday to meet with a specialist to get the information on what to do. I read somewhere there are certain foods to cut out... I am trying to find links so I can start adjusting my diet. I am kind of in a haze emotional roller coaster and not sure what any of this means. All I know is I don't understand because I have a five year old and never had any problems. Best of luck to you.
