If u can trust ur SO around the opposite sex....should u even be with them? My husband's bff from childhood is a female. It's nice to have someone to talk to if we have an issue and I need to vent...she sees it from another females perspective and either puts him in his place or me in mine! Lol

I struggle with this because I was a firm believer in trust and friendship and my ex husband abused the privilege and cheated for months and left me & his child.

I don't think it's fair to bring my issues to a new relationship. My bf & I both have a couple opposite sex friends, but we don't have much contact with them out of respect for one another.

My husband has a chick best friend and has chick friends. Our deal is I can have guy friends if he has chick friends. But we have to meet the friends, hang out, etc and if my so or I don't get a good vibe, then talk about it
