PMDD (haven't heard of it? You NEED to)

Deanne
This is something that I haven't seen addressed but HAS to be... bc it ruins lives, it ruins relationships, there's a high suicide rate.
It's NOT pms. 80% women get pms. Maybe 5% have PMDD to some degree, even less to a severe degree. It's SO HARD to find information that isn't filled with errors... online support groups are the best I've found. I will post more on this & its symptoms & treatments, but wanted to get the topic started--too many women SUFFERING needlessly, undiagnosed... or misdiagnosed.
Gia Allmund from "The Bachelor"--so sweet, so beautiful, so young... just killed herself from it recently.
If you know you have it, let's start talking.
And for those who are having extreme symptoms of sadness, fatigue, suicidal thoughts, inability to control what you say, etc, etc & it lasts days up to 3 weeks & just doesn't seem normal... please start reading. You need to know so you can help yourself.
More soon. <3 to all

Mine was masked by the pill for years. I went off it 7 years ago & can see now SO clearly that's when my life started tanking. Only it grew slowly that I just thought it was me. But it can become severe in women in their late 30s-early 40s (I'm 38) & that's what happened to me. A younger friend had heard of it in school (it's only been recognized as real fairly recently) & said she thought I prob had it--and that may've saved my life. I'll write more, but if you feel something isn't right or your "pms" seems insanely difficult, I encourage you to follow this & keep reading. It could change... or save, your life!
