There are multiple reasons for having bumbs down there. See a gynecologist! He/she is the only one who can really know what it is. Herpes simplex 1 is the less serious of the two. Herpes simplex 2 is more serious. Type one is normally contracted through oral sex. (On the mouth but it now found more common in genitals as well) and type two is normally genitals. Type 2 you have outbreaks more frequently. Type 1 the virus can be dormant for years. Meaning you can have one outbreak and your next one be two years later. Don't freak out because herpes it isn't life threatening. Just have to be more careful with sex (condoms). Good luck sweetheart!!

Herpes is an incurable virus.  Let here are 2 types Herpes simplex 1 (causes oral cold sores) and simplex 2 (causes genital herpes). Herpes starts out as bumps but then turns into blisters. There a number of reason to have bumps down there: allergic reaction, folliculitis, ingrown hair, some sort of dermatitis.
