I get a pension for being a sahm. It's enough to get by but I want more from my life and want to be able to spoil my kids so I'm studying midwifery next year so I can start providing for my family myself.

When I was a student I considered applying. I couldn't find a job anywhere and was scrambling to find money to pay my bills and rent. Nobody would hire me because i was a student, even though my classes were on Tuesday Wednesday Thursday. I had the $25 in my bank account that was required to keep it open. I ended up getting a job at a restaurant 3 1/2 hours away through a family connection and stayed with my mom on weekends and just drove back and forth to go to school. I made it out just fine but now even though I have a great career I don't spend any of my money on me and just pack rat what doesn't go to bills because I never want to be back in that place.

No but I have a friend who is embarrassed to stand in line ...and think she make too much money when she only make 10 something an hour and constantly says she makes too much money???I be wanting to slap her...idk y some people are ashamed of gettin food stamps when the government is assisting you and you dnt have to come out ya pocket for certain things ...if I had a baby on the way I would run to that food stamp office with no shame
