Does anyone take a substitute for prenatal vitamins

I was told it is better to take an organic better substitute instead of prenatal vitamins

I take Rainbow Light, which are vegan.  They also make an organic version, as do many other companies.  They are still prenatals, but organic.  A quick google search will bring up lots of options for you.

I like to think I have a well balanced diet so I just take folic acid, iron and vitamin c and skip the pre natals. They made me sick anyways!

I had to take folic acid with flintstone chewables when I was pregnant with my son. I had a reaction to the prenatals.

I take a multivitamin from the local health food store. It's very good but expensive, however if doesn't cause as much nauseous as materna.

Yes in the beginning I took a regular multivitamin every second day and my prenatal on the opposite days because I found that I got too constipated otherwise.
