I'm trying hard to quit diet coke with TTC. I know drinking water is better for me and hopefully for the baby I will carry! Good luck!

I would just avoid drinking during your TWW. Just to be safe.

The fact is that if you don't have any fertility problems drinking until you get a positive test result is fine. After implantation nutrition is supplied by the yolk sac until the plecenta develops, once that has happened then your baby is getting it's nutrients from the mother.

I try to stick to only a glass of wine (or two) if I'm going to have any alcohol during the TWW.  Although there have been so many moms who've drank without knowing they're pregnant yet, I feel too guilty as we are actually TTC.  I did have drinks on Saturday, though, during the TWW but I just knew it wasn't our month and had a negative test that morning (aunt flow showed up two days later lol).

Quit drinking coffee and soda at the same time and you won't even miss alcohol. I quit all three and I miss alcohol the least by a longshot.
