Anyone taking metformin?

If u r, how long are you taking it for?

I am and I believe they told me they will have me stop at 12

That's how long I took it with my first also. I was just curious if there has been any research done to show that taking it longer has benifits, like preventing GD? 
Did u have GD with your pregnancies?
I did and I'm wondering if I were to take met longer this time If that would change the outcome ??

I am also on metformin and the goal is to come off at 12 weeks as well.

Yes I am. This is my third pregnancy (taken with both my previous prehnancies) and my doctor recommends that I take it until 12 weeks.
