When is time to have talk about future?

My boyfriend and i have been together for almost 8 months we are twelve years apart age wise and im 28 he is older. We say we love eachother but never talk about a future together i feel like it should be discussed by now especially at our ages its not like we are immature teenagers. We both have great jobs and financially independent. Am i wrong to bring it up is it too soon?

Not at all. If in 8 month you don't know if you want to be that person in future so he is wasting your time. You should talk to him and tell him who are you feeling or ask him where this relationship is going. I'm pretty sure you might have similar thing in beginner of relationship.

I don't think it's ever too soon to talk, if you're in a steady relationship. And I think if he isn't willing to have a serious sit down, or if either of you aren't willing to accept the other's viewpoint and live with the result, it should end.

That's not to say I think you need to get married right away or anything. But you do need to air your grievances, so to speak... Just lay it all out on the table so you both know where your heads are at. If he wants more time to enjoy things the way they are, it's up to you to decide if you can do that.

If you feel like it's time to talk then its time to talk!  My friend is 32 and he just broke it off with a girl he had only been dating for a month or so because they weren't seeing eye to eye on the future, he was blunt and said at his age he isn't just looking to play house and have fun.  If it's important to you then tell him it's important!

We basically talked about it right away. Need to know you're on the same page or it's a waste of time! It's not like I said "I WANNA HAVE A BABY IN 2 MONTHS!!!" But just casually talked about it

I wouldn't say wrong it depends but by future do u mean marriage kids if so to me it would be to early plus I would be wondering if he even wants that at his age maybe he loves me but dosent want to be married but it depends you know yor man and his past if it feels right talk to him but my opinion is its still early
