How often to have sex?

So I've been reading some posts and noticing a lot of people having sex everyday of their fertile week. I was told by my doctor that this wasn't a good idea because if your DH ejaculates everyday his sperm count won't be as high. He told me it's better to do it every other day if not every 3 days. Has anyone else heard this before?

I just read about this online n got mixed answers. I had sex my most fertile days today being my last.
