For those who were virgins when you got married. Did you consider that a "gift" to your husband??

Yeah, it was a gift to my husband. But I don't think that a woman's virginity is worth any more than a man's. It's a shame society "high-fives" men that give theirs away casually.

We thank each other for this gift we share every single time... 15 years later. We weren't virgins with each other back then but we appreciate that we wish we were. And that it's sacred.

The only gifts I can give to any guy coming into my life are my love and affection and they gotta work hard to earn those. Also, never thought of virginity has a gift anyway because being a virgin isn't as much of an effort as being in love and devoting your time and affection to someone.

I wasn't a virgin, but my husband was and he had saved himself for marriage because his parents said it was the greatest gift you could give your spouse. I think there are more important things you can do for your spouse than not have sex, but hey.

A gift to each other? I think it's dumb that a guys virginity is embarrassing but a girls is sacred. Whatever. Yea, we waited till marriage (married young) and it was awesome. I think it was a gift to both of us because I never have to wonder if some other girl was better at it, or if he ever thinks of someone from his past while he's with me. Just how it worked for us and I'm happy that way.
