Mark as spotting or light period?

So I've had the Mirena for 2 weeks as of today and I started spotting a few days ago but I think it may actually be my period since before Mirena they were already light and I'm thinking maybe the Mirena made it lighter already. So im wondering if I should mark it down as period or just spotting just incase it's just my body getting used to it?
