After birth control?

So I have been off my IUD sence August. I had a very heavy period 3 days after taking it out and it lasted 11 days. Then I didn't have another period till October 1 that's 44 days. That one only lasted 6 days. Now I'm up to 44 days did anyone else get wired things like this happening?

Taking 1000mg vitamin C every day was the most helpful thing that helped me get my cycle back to normal. I also drank a lot raspberry leaf tea which also helped.

It kind of just freaked me out. Before birth control I could count almost down to the hour of when AF would be visiting now that we are trying again it really was scary to see such a change.
