Period symptoms, no period

I had my usual breat pain before hand and today period is supposed to start. I have cramps but just a brown mucousy disharge. I put in my diva cup earlier today when I saw spotting but when I took it out to clean all there was, was as I said above. Been TTC for 3 yrs.
