Any veggies or vegans?

Currently Ttc, just wondered about dietary concerns during pregnancy. I'm already taking prenatal vitamins.

I went to culinary school and have a masters in food science. So please ask me anything. I am currently working for a 7 mo pregnant women with the same req's. To up your protein and iron eat legumes, dried beans, lentils, chickpeas. Substitute them for rice in recipes. Make "meatloaf" with silk tofu, fine chopped veg, and beans. Or stuffed peppers with the same recipe. Cashews, pine hazelnut, peanut, and almond are high protein and iron too. 
All dark green leafy veg (rocket, kale, scallions), but mushrooms (morels), dried apricots, asparagus, certain olives, mulberry, desiccated coconut, Squash and pumpkin seed all have a substantial amount of iron as well!
Remember to increase your body's iron absorption add vit C to your meal , say make a spinach or kale salad and use orange juice in the dressing or squeeze lemon on it. Also cook everything you can multiple times a day in a cast iron skillet, it releases a small amount of iron into the food cooked in it.

I am Indian (South Indian ) can easily go on every day without eating meat or animal products. I never realised that I have been doing it for so long because Indian vegetarian / vegan recipes are plentiful. 
Got to say it has helped with my weight loss and PCOS. So yea go for it, try to eat variety of foods when possible .

I am on a plant-based diet, so far I have just been told to up my protein (I'm really bad about getting enough in)

I am. I had no issues with anything. I eat a lot of greens, beans, and healthy fats.
