Gay men donating blood
Canada curently lifted the lifetime ban on gay men donating blood. Right now they can donate, if they haven't had sex with another man in at least 5 years. The U.S. has a complete ban, no exceptions. Am I the only one who thinks this is ridiculous?? I mean they test the blood before giving it to someone else, so what's the big deal??? Also straight men and women can catch HIV just as easily. I think it's just another way to be discriminatory.
