Irregular period after mmc

I had my second miscarriage in July. Ever since the miscarriage, my periods have been so off. I'll basically spot for a full week and then have an additional week of bleeding. Last month my period was two weeks late. This month, I've been bleeding for 15 days. I'm worried this is going to affect us as we continue to try again. Has anyone ever experienced this? If so, what were the outcomes? I keep thinking about calling my doctor but then I think it's going to stop so I pray next month is normal again. Thanks for your advice!
