Am I meant to have another?

Question

I just purchased Preseed and I started wondering if maybe I'm just not meant to have a second baby. Maybe my body is not conceiving naturally, because it's not supposed to for whatever reason. Anybody else have these thoughts and are they justified?

I'm having difficulty conceiving #2 as well. I don't believe for one moment that it's not 'meant to be' or anything like that. I think our bodies know when the best time is to conceive, and we should trust that. I know it's frustrating. I've been trying since September 2013 for my second, nothing. YET. I just bought Pre Seed last month also, and am in my fertile week right now, so it's GAME TIME!! Just try to remain positive and keep charting. Have you tried OPK's yet? That'll nail down your ovulation time more accurately than just going by Glow's estimate.

It took me two years to get pregnant w/# 2. In between the span of two years I had two MC. I switched Dr and he ordered me to get a HSG. That worked. I got pregnant 2 months later. I was taking prenatal vitamins, Royal jelly (due to my low egg reserve) fertility tea. He was taking fertility pills and maca. I used vagisil wash (to keep a good pH balance so it doesn't kill the sperm. Try doing this and don't give up. After my AF, we would try every day for 12 days and genially I conceived. I'm 22 w now. ? good luck your day will come.

Seems like it really depends on your body. My husband and I are trying for #2. Started a couple months ago. Really hoping it happens soon! With my first, I found out I was pregnant within weeks of going off the pill. Crazy!

I have been thinking the same thing. My husband and I waited 8 years due to schooling and financial reasons. I had a mc at 11 wks. Now we're trying again, but in the back if my mind I worry if it is really going to happen. We are blessed with an 8 year old, so if it doesn't happen I will accept it. Best of luck to you.

First of all, good luck!!! My partner and I have been trying for our second child for about three years. Now and then I have the same sort of feelings, as if it will never happen and it's not supposed to. I feel incredibly lucky to have my first child and very satisfied and happy. We're still trying though! I just wanted to let you know that you aren't the only one with these sorts of thoughts.

I personally don't believe anything is "meant" to happen or not - you alone are responsible for your path.  If this is something you want, go for it. And if not through natural conception, there are plenty of options. Best of luck, yolo

I say, if you feel in your heart that you want another, then have another. It took me 2 months to concieve my 2nd child, a year to concieve my 3rd child, and I am currently pregnant with my 4th child after 2 three months of "trying". So you really never know how long it will take. Everything happens when they are supposed to happen.
