Blood clot? Miscarriage?

Question

Currently I am about 7 weeks along with my first pregnancy. Yesterday while running errands there was some blood, which I thought was mucus. There wasn't a lot, it was light pink/red. About 30 minutes later I went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was a pretty big blood clot. I've been researching pictures of miscarriages(gross, I know) and it looks nothing like any of those pictures. It looked just like a clot from AF or a nose bleed. I haven't been having cramps, and the bleeding stopped shortly after the clot. I have my dr. Appointment December 2, should I go in early? Did I have a miscarriage? Now when I use the restroom there isn't blood in the toilet and only traces when I wipe. I'm just so nervous.

If you're not bleeding any more it's probably fine, but I would call your doctor and just tell them what's up. They can see you early or give you more peace of mind. Best wishes.

I've had 2 miscarriages and my first miscarriage was really painful. I was taken to the hospital by the ambulance where the miscarriage competed naturally without any treatments.

With my second, I didn't get any cramps whatsoever, just clots and bleeding, I knew I had miscarried just went to the doctors to confirm there wasn't any remains left.

I've never had a miscarriage, but I would assume there would be more cramping. However, I would get in to see your doctor as soon as you can. It might be nothing, but you'll have peace of mind instead of waiting another week. Good luck!!

I had no pain, and 2 days of clear brown discharge. I was paranoid, went to the ER, had it checked and found out I was preg w twins but neither had a heart beat and were measuring 6 weeks.. I was sent for 2 sequential hcg that showed very high but decreasing levels. I miscarried 3 days after the unitial start of brown discharge. I never bled but for the hour before and 2 days after I lost my babies. It was obvious when I passed the babies. I had discomfort for the first hour but after the babies passed I was fine pain wise. I agree what's normal for one woman isn't necessarily normal for another. I wished I had went in when the discharge first started maybe I could have been put on progesterone or something.. Get it checked, I know the fear of the unknown is hard and it's easy to get comfort from google stories saying ppl spotted and everything is fine but you really should call your dr and demand an ultrasound and round of beta hcg tests

I had 2 huge blood clots around 5 weeks, and surprisingly I wasn't scared it kind of felt like a cleanse like baby was getting rid of crap in my uterus. I'm now 11 weeks and just saw baby Friday, it was dancing like crazy with a strong heartbeat!! Try not to worry, it's out of your hands, think positive  ?☺️

I called the emergency operator, the nurse called right back and answered all my questions. She said that since the bleeding subsided and there is no pelvic pain that that is very reassuring. I am still petrified that I miscarried but feel better about it

You need to go in ASAP.
I had a blood clot and things turned out fine but a lot of times this isn't the case. Nobody on here can give you the right answer for this. Please be safe and go in to ur doc. Wish u all the best
