Do ovulation tests really work?

Question

I'm in a situation where I have fertility issues. I don't have periods. I have tried ovulation tests on and off. Do any of you have stories where they have helped? I am wondering if it's worth buying months worth and taking everyday? Anything to get the bun in the oven naturally. Has anyone with PCOS or Endo had help getting pregnant with ovulation tests or are they a waste of time and money? I am unopinionated and am just curious. Thanks in advance xx

Consider trying FAM. A good book to read would be taking charge of your fertility by Toni weschler. It is all about learning how to track your bbt, cervical fluid and position. You will be able to see if and when you ovulate. After a few months of charting, if there looks to be problems, a doctor should be able to help you determine where to start for testing and what not.

I read the book and started doing this in terms of avoiding pregnancy and used ovulation strips mostly as an aid they seemed to have worked thisinth. I am waiting for three high temps to confirm ovulation

I have PCOS as well. I bought mine off Amazon-much cheaper than in the store. Although, I don't always know if they are showing positive or not-I have no idea if that's from the PCOS or not.
