Confused..

My boyfriend and I are ttc. I was on nuvaring from July 8th until October 27th. I just don't know when or what I'm looking for. This will be my second pregnancy, my first baby was born and passed away on August 8, 2010. I'm a little nervous about getting pregnant again. I've been taking 800mg of folic acid a day and BD-ingoften. When should I test? Or should I test at all? I guess I just need a friend.
