After how long after ovulation does the implantation happen?

Hi guys new to all this so sorry if I don't use all the abbreviations. Ttc and just wondering how long after ovulation does (if it happens) implantation happen? I'm 8 dpo and getting bad cramps throughout the day, still around 8 days to af. So thinking it could b that but I don't usually suffer with period cramps xx

It is usually 6-12dpo when implantation occurs. It could be implantation but if the cramps are painful you might wanna go to the dr.
