Pineapple and Pregnancy?

Are you not supposed to eat pineapple while you are pregnant?

Pineapple is fine. What can be bad is the core, which contains a chemical called bromelain that can cause miscarriages. But you'd have to get several entire pineapple cores before it would be dangerous, and who eats the core anyway? So just eat the good part and not the core and you'll be fine.

Pineapple and grapefruit affect certain medications absorption rate...ask your Drs about any dietary restrictions that come with your meds...if there are none...then enjoy ??

I'm not an expert, but I really do not think pineapple would be bad.
