Just to speak myself out :(

I know to some people this will be like really why are you taking this so serious but I feel sooo bad. Thing is my mom has birds as pets but she moved to another country two months ago so she left me in charge of her birdies. And omg two of the three of them died and its my fault ? I cant believe that these days I forgot to feed them because I was on bed sick so I told someone else to feed my dog that is outside but I completely forgot about the birds!!! I am so guilty of this and I cant figure out how I am going to tell my mom that those birds died. They have been with us for years!!!! It is sooo cruel that they died because of food ? like my mom will be so disappointed of me and I still cannot believe I forgot to feed them ????? I am extremely sorry if any of you think this is a waste of time to read. It is just I feel really bad. Like I have no idea how my mom will feel because she took really good care of them plus she has always told me I am very irresponsible with things and now (I have been living alone for 2 months and she wont be coming back) she will tell me I am not capable of doing things because feeding is something so basic. Ughhhhh ? how could you tell your mom that her pet died because you forgot feeding them? :''(
