Does your SO drink while TTC?

Question

My SO drinks 4-6 beer on average a night to "relax after work", and more on the weekends. He doesn't understand why it's important to me that he stops, at least during my fertile week. We've been TTC since April and I'm afraid this could affect it. Comments welcome.

Me and my SO both have a few drinks every night. I'm a huge wino and he either drinks rum or beer depending on what's in the fridge:) I highly doubt it effects fertility too much just because 80% of my friends and family all conceived while drinking. I've been  TTC for well over 6 months now with no luck though:(
