Is it a miscarriage???

Question

My period finished 14 days ago, today was meant to be my highest fertile day but mid morning I stared getting a really heavy feeling in my uterus and then period pains but the period pains weren't very bad it was just heaviness that was really uncomfortable, by the time I got home in the afternoon I was bleeding and it was like really red fresh blood. 
I'm guessing it is a miscarriage but wanted to know what others thought as it seems as though my last period only just finished not long ago and didn't know if you could miscarry so soon after a period. 
Also I took a pregnant test the day before my last period and it was negative so I don't think it was a period while being pregnant as I know that can happen sometimes?

Also I've been ttc for over 2 years and had a miscarriage at 8 weeks about 9 months ago

This has happened to me, I passed big tissue clots out as well. The doctor gave me a blood test and it came back negative. She told me it happens. I'm convinced it was an early miscarriage.

Also, it takes a week or two weeks for any fertilized egg to even implant. So if you ovulate normally, it's very unlikely to be a miscarriage until two or three weeks *from now*

I know sometimes there are cases where ovulation can cause some bleeding. So if your were during your fertile week and you had te feeling of heaviness...it might've just been ovulation?
