I'm seventeen and my boyfriend is twenty and I personally don't care what anyone thinks we're happy together and if you are too it shouldn't matter. Ya there are consent laws but as long as yall are happy together that's all that matters ?

I'm 17 and my boyfriend is 19:) not as big of a difference, but I agree wth the other comments. It's the maturity level that counts. My first two boyfriends were also 2-3 years older than me. Young ER guys just didn't appeal to me with their hobbies etc.

My boyfriend and I are in the same boat I was 17 when we first started dating and he is 21. I just turned 18 last month. I don't really feel the age difference. I think sometimes he does but it works out for us. It is maturity that matters. You will have to deal with things that most 17 year olds don't deal with but if he is the right person then it's so worth it.
