Which date: miscarriage or due date?

Question

My husband would like to buy me a piece of jewellery to remember our baby. I'd like it to be the correct 'birthstone' but I'm undecided as to use our due date or the date we miscarriage (which I guess is a 'birth' day of sorts). What would/did you do?

Thank you for your replies, and I am terribly sorry for your losses. 
I'm just so torn, I lost my baby at 12 weeks. Right before we even had our first scan. 
I feel like November will always be a negative thing, but technically that is the 'birth' date. 
We were due in June, and I'm tempted to go with that because I will be remembering baby. Not the terrible moments of our miscarriage. But at the same time, I don't know tht June will really feel like a month I associate our baby with.

We delivered our angel Kira at 20 weeks and I held her so to me that day she was born was more important. And we lost another baby right after and I again used the day I lost the baby

We didn't have a due date because I was a high risk pregnancy and they thought from the beginning that I was going to lose it. I just know that I would have been due in July so we used that birthstone to get a ring that I can remember my baby by.
