How long did you wait?

I'm just wondering how long people waited to break the news when they got pregnant. I know your suppose to wait till your at least out of your first trimester do to possible complications early on. Send me some feed back!

My midwife said the real risk of miscarriage is WAY overplayed in our society due to such young and older moms and lack of good prenatal care/planning. I say whenever you're good and ready. Enjoy it with your SO for a while and then close friends/family I say. And even if something happens at least you won't suffer it alone

I told my sister, best friend and parents straight away. If everything goes according to plan I will probably tell some of my relatives around new year (9 weeks) and I will tell everyone else probably after my first scan x

I told my husband immediately and then we waited a few weeks before we told our parents and then several more weeks before we told anyone else. I think it's totally a personal choice to make...you can tell people right away, or wait as long as you want...it's totally your own call, whatever feels right.

I told my closest friends and immediate family right away...I figured that of somthing had happened I would have told then anyways! Just found out I'm pregnant with number two and told the same people!
