Should you husband...?

So am I the only one who finds it annoying an terrible that my husband can't defend me? Whether it's to his family or to people starting drama I think he should defend me. Instead he lets them say whatever they want an then yells at me for being upset. Great way to end my thanksgiving. Sorry for the rant. It's just is defend him no matter who was bad mouthing him. But he says it's stupid for him to say anything on my be half cause he doesn't wanna start problems. Well now he has started problems with me cause I don't think that's right
