Hurtful mother

So my mom and I were just chatting about life last night, her drinking wine, and she told me a story about a friend who's granddaughter committed suicide recently. Sad. But then she goes to bring up the fact that she thought I was real eff-ed up when I was 16 (I'm almost 30 now) and she was surprised I didn't try to commit suicide myself. Not what a newly pregnant woman wants to hear. She tries to apologize this morning and blames me for being too sensitive. She volunteered to leave and I said that would be good. Just venting.
