Molar pregnancy?

Just came across this term, and I'm curious- have any of you ladies experienced this, and we're there any signs/symptoms, and when was it discovered? Thanks in advance!

I had my molar pregnancy in feb this year there’s no certain symptoms apart from thinking you have had a miscarriage. I didn’t bleed or anything I just went to my normal 12 week scan and they told me there was no heart beat. It wasn’t until I had the d&c; that they told me it was a molar pregnancy. I then had to have a second procedure due to retaining tissue and then blood tests weekly for 8 weeks and then monthly for 6 months. I have now been cleared and ttc again. No luck so far but fingers crossed. It is a horrible thing to go through but I do suggest to all women who miscarry to ask doctors to check for this as it is so unknown and so very dangerous if it’s not picked up.

I had a much molar pregnancy this time last year. I started bleeding at 7 wks. It took 2 months to naturally pass everything. I was bleeding every other week during that time. After many blood tests, the doctors advised it must have been a molar pregnancy since it took such a long time for that HcG levels to drop. I haven't TTC since. Not because it was traumatic, just waiting until after our wedding.

A friend of mine just had a molar pregnancy.  She was initially told she was having a miscarriage and then got told she was having a molar pregnancy.  Her symptoms were: bleeding from the vagina, an uncomfortable feeling in her pelvis area and vaginal discharge of tissue. She had to have the growth removed via a procedure. Lasted about 20 mins. Her & her husband had been only trying for about 3 to 4 months when it happened. Doctor told her she basically has to wait 1 year now before trying again.
