Just diagnosed PCOS and feeling defeated

I was diagnosed with PCOS this last month. My periods have always been regular but my dr started me on Prometrium. I took it starting on day 12 and continued until day 25. I am 5 days late and got a BFN ?. Has anyone taken Prometrium and have it mess up your cycle?
