I'm 36 wks... Should I get my flu shot ASAP? And what about my husband and 3yr old? All need flu shots? Lastly my mom will be staying w/us for about an month after baby is born... Should she have one? And a Tdap? She hasn't had one but myself, husband & son all have.
And where do u get the flu shot?
Thoughts?!

I made sure everyone that will be around the baby has the flu & tdap shot.

I definitely recommend it to help protect your little one until he/she is old enough to get vaccinated on their own. Where do you live? My doctors office had them available, and public health, pharmacy's, and family physician offices had them as well and I'm in Canada.

No. The best flu shot is antioxidant rich berries and garlic. Elderberry, currants, cranberries, Concord grapes. The flu shot has lots of nasty immune system killing chemicals, and can give you the flu or worse.

It's impossible to get the flu from the vaccine as it's a dead virus, you can rarely get some flu-like symptoms

Yes both are highly recommended for everyone in contact with your baby. Flu season is here and it's so easy to get sick or carry illness. In unsure if you can still get your tbap vaccine this late. I got mine at 30 weeks but I got my flu at 36 weeks I'll ask your doctor if it's still a good idea. Whooping cough is extremely bad for newborns. I would have your mom and your husband and daughter get them. Ask your doctor on your daughter before the tbap unsure what the age cut off. Is. Also there is a special flu shot for pregnant women and small kids I would ask for that one instead of the regular one. Good luck
